RONNY SHIELDS
Ronny is a dynamic coach whose holistic coaching style gives his teams/players the best results possible both on and off the field. With over 15 years of his coaching experience after a successful tenure playing division 1 soccer, he has a unique eye for spotting talent and pushing players to go beyond the goals they set. Prior to joining Ventura Surf SC he has spent the last 7 years as a top coach for Eagles SC. His experience includes that of a Director, Coach, Mentor to the Eagles staff and most recently was assigned as the Technical Coach for all ECNL teams. With innovated teaching techniques, a Bachelors in Counseling, coaching licenses and constant coaching evolution he has seen many of his players play at the highest level including; Playing professionally, Youth National Teams, ODP teams, as well as various elite Universities

FERNANDO PIÑA RIVERA
Brings world class soccer experience with 21 years as a Professional Player in several different teams in Mexico. A wealth of coaching experience coaching the Mexican U17 & U20 National Team leading to the teams top four in multiple World Cup games. He most recently was the Keeper coach for the Ventura County Fusion & Simi Valley Eclipse. Fernando is now exclusive to the Ventura Surf Soccer Club.
